Jobot in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate Fanuc CNC machines for precision production. You will be responsible for tool changes, program execution, and quality inspection to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC Machinist experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage Fanuc CNC machines to perform drilling, grinding, milling and related tasks.
• Read blueprints and mechanical drawings to determine setup and tolerances.
• Translate instructions into CNC commands for correct machine function.
• Load materials and parts onto machines and ensure proper alignment.
• Inspect and measure finished parts to meet specifications.
• Test machine operation periodically to guarantee smooth running.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machines.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace according to policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficiency and proper workflow.
• Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as needed.

1st Monday-Friday 530am to 2pm

2nd shift 4pm-1230am

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage Fanuc CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
• Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
• Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
• Test operation of machines periodically to guarantee their smooth running.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure machinery efficiency, proper job sequencing, and coordinated workflow.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in using Fanuc CNC and Fanuc software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mill and lathe operations.
• Expertise in machine programming and CNC machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
