- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, work orders, specifications, aerospace blueprints, and drawings.
- Effective communication skills with managers and colleagues.
- Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
- Problem-solving skills, including data collection and analysis.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
- Capacity to sit or stand for at least 10 hours daily.

Job Duties and Responsibilities - What You Will Do Daily
- Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements.
- Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions on workpieces.
- Set up and operate machines such as mills, lathes, and jig borers, including selecting and aligning fixtures and tools.
- Calculate and set controls for machining parameters or input commands for CNC machines.
- Monitor machine operation, detect malfunctions, and make adjustments as needed.
- Verify finished work against specifications.
- Conduct trial runs to verify machine settings.
- Document setup and operation details clearly and accurately.
- Collaborate with engineering and planning teams to resolve machining issues.
- Maintain good housekeeping and care for equipment.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100 standards.
- Support a positive work environment and contribute to team goals.
