Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC machining experience or completed trade school training.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong background in CNC setup, programming, and precision machining.
• Comfortable working independently on second or weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Machine medium to moderately complex parts to print and specification.
• Apply working knowledge of CNC machines, tools, and machining methods, including setup, repair, and maintenance.
• Select appropriate tools, machines, materials, and abrasives to meet cut quality and production requirements.
• Modify existing CNC programs or write and test new programs to support new or revised processes.
• Program using G-code, macro variables, and SurfCam software.
• Set up, adjust, and operate a variety of CNC and manual machine shop equipment, including mills and lathes.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and other precision instruments.
• Measure, inspect, and test completed parts to ensure conformance to quality and engineering specifications.
• Maintain awareness of production processes, raw materials, quality standards, and cost considerations.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

The CNC Machinistuses CNC machinery to perform a range of fabrication processes, producing precision parts that meet internal and external customer requirements. This role supports production through programming, setup, machining, and inspection in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
