Job summary

Poclain Hydraulics is seeking a hands-on CNC Machining Technician for the 2nd shift in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. Operate turning, grinding, and heat-treating equipment on Fanuc-controlled machines and contribute to precision quality on a fast-paced shop floor.

Qualifications

Experience operating CNC machines (turning, grinding, or similar).
Familiarity with Fanuc controls and machining cells.
Ability to perform machine setups and adjustments.
Understanding of blueprints, tolerances, and precision measurement devices.
Exposure to CMM, tool setters, or automated machining environments is preferred.
Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machining centers, including turning, grinding, and heat-treating equipment.
Work with Fanuc-controlled machines (Mori turning centers) and other advanced machining systems.
Perform basic to intermediate machine setups, including tooling adjustments and offsets.
Inspect parts using precision measurement tools and document results per process sheets.
Maintain strict adherence to quality standards, work instructions, and SOPs.
Troubleshoot minor machining issues and elevate as needed.
Support continuous improvement and efficiency efforts on the shop floor.
Train and support entry-level operators as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
