Award Staffing is assisting a Buffalo, MN employer in finding a CNC Machining Technician to program CNC machines with Mastercam, set up tooling, and inspect parts to spec. You will operate HAAS vertical milling machines, read digital drawings, and maintain tooling libraries while collaborating with a small team.

The temp-to-hire role runs on 1st shift, Monday–Friday 6:30 AM–4:00 PM with some overtime. Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, precision measuring skills, and a proactive,

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude with interest in fabrication or robotics.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and digital measurement tools.
Willingness to learn CNC milling and operate HAAS machines.

Responsibilities

Program CNC machines and generate toolpaths using Mastercam.
Operate HAAS vertical milling machines and troubleshoot.
Read digital part prints, 3D models, and technical drawings.
Manage job files, set up programs, and maintain tooling libraries.
Perform precision measurement with micrometers and calipers.
Cut and prep raw steel; maintain a clean, safe workspace.
Collaborate with a small team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
