Job summary

Mercor is seeking experienced CNC machinists to author and validate grading rubrics for CNC machining work. You will apply real production-floor judgment to approve or reject approaches for production runs and clearly explain your reasoning.

You will create objective, text-based rubrics, justify each criterion in writing, and review sample solutions to determine pass/fail outcomes. Strong 5+ years of CNC experience and fluent written English are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience.
• Strong production judgment to determine safe production on real machines.
• Written English fluency for all text-based deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to text-only, objective rubrics for grading CNC machining solutions based on CAD models and context.
• Write clear verification rationale for each criterion.
• Review sample solutions and explain pass/fail outcomes.
