Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Springdale, AR seeks a skilled Machine Tool Calibration Technician to maintain the accuracy and alignment of CNC machines used to manufacture aerospace components.

You will perform calibration, leveling, and verification using Renishaw Ballbar systems, laser tools, and precision levels. Collaborate with Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, and OEM service technicians to ensure parts meet engineering specs and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Calibrate, level, and align CNC lathes, mills, and multi-axis machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and OEM specs.
• Perform precision calibration using ball bars, lasers, and precision levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy, alignment, and performance of CNC machine tools.
• Perform machine geometry inspections and verification after maintenance or relocations.
• Support installation, commissioning, and acceptance of new machines.
• Coordinate calibration schedules and document activities per FAA and AS9100 requirements.
• Maintain calibration records in SAP or other CMMS systems.
