Job summary

ManpowerGroup has a client in Alexandria, MN seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join its manufacturing team. Operate CNC horizontal lathes, mills or turning centers to perform machining operations, read and interpret blueprints and process sheets, and ensure precision and quality.

The weekend shift runs Friday through Sunday, 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year in manufacturing, ability to read technical drawings, basic math, and the physical

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, and instructions.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC horizontal lathes, mills, or turning centers for machining operations.
• Read and interpret process sheets, blueprints, and sketches.
• Mount workpieces and start machining operations with precision.
• Perform in-process inspections and spot checks for conformance to specs.
• Monitor coolant levels and make basic machine adjustments as needed.

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Location: Alexandria, MN

Pay Range: $23+/hour

Shift: Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Operate computer numerically controlled horizontal lathes, mills, or turning centers to perform machining operations such as turning, boring, facing, and threading parts.

• Read and interpret process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine operating requirements.

• Mount workpieces securely and start machining operations, ensuring precision and quality.

• Perform in-process inspections and spot checks to verify conformance to specifications.

• Maintain machine functionality by monitoring coolant levels and performing basic machine adjustments as needed.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED

• At least 1 year of experience in a factory or manufacturing environment.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints, process sheets, and instructions.

• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
