Linamar Corporation in Avilla, IN is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to safely and accurately run CNC equipment and produce parts to precise specs. A keen eye for detail and strong mechanical aptitude are essential for quality parts and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include following procedures, loading/unloading materials, inspecting finished products, recording data, maintaining 5S standards, and performing daily maintenance.

Qualifikationen

• Mechanical inclination and basic knowledge of manufacturing.
• Prior CNC machine operator experience is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Aufgaben

• Follow procedures and work instructions to ensure safety and quality.
• Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
• Load and unload materials and parts on the machines.
• Inspect finished products with hand gauges and compare to specifications.
• Complete daily production documentation including scrap and efficiency.
• Perform SPC checks when required per control plan and instructions.
• Maintain 5S standards to keep the area clean and organized.
• Conduct daily machinery maintenance to ensure functionality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
