Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Northampton is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our production team. You will operate CNC routers and saw machinery, read technical drawings, and ensure parts meet specifications with high accuracy.

The role offers a permanent, full-time position with overtime opportunities, ongoing training, and a collaborative, supportive work environment in a busy manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience setting and adjusting CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good numerical and measuring skills.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software would be advantageous.
• A proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC routers and saw machinery safely and efficiently.
• Set up machinery, tooling and programmes for production runs.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Accurately measure, cut and prepare materials to required standards.
• Carry out quality inspections throughout the production process.
• Minimise waste and ensure efficient use of materials.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and routine checks.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Support wider production and workshop activities as required.
