Captive-Aire Systems in Bedford, PA is seeking a CNC machine operator to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will prepare machines, read blueprints, set controls, and help ensure product quality while meeting production schedules.

This full-time role requires attention to detail, safety, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A high school diploma is required, and a monthly bonus is offered based on performance.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail, safety and quality
• MS Office/Windows knowledge is beneficial
• Capable of solving problems and using good judgment in making decisions
• Ability to read and work from prints, schematics, and technical bulletins
• Ability to read tape measures and use basic math skills
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and standing for long periods
• Physical stamina and strength
• Drug-free workplace policy adherence and testing

Responsibilities

• Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing material
• Determine sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, and work orders
• Regulate machining by setting and adjusting controls
• Maintain specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls
• Resolve production problems by altering process to meet specifications, notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
• Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
• Document actions by completing production and quality logs
• Contributes to team effort working in other areas as needed
