Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a CNC operator in Overland Park, KS to maximize production efficiency by loading raw materials, running high-volume cycles on CNC lathes and horizontal mills, and maintaining tight tolerances.

You will monitor tool wear, check parts against control plans with gauges, handle heavy parts safely, and work a 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM schedule with an immediate start and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Machine loading: load materials and castings into CNC machine with proper clamping and alignment.
• Production operation: run high-volume production cycles on CNC lathes or HMCs to optimize throughput.
• Tool wear management: monitor wear compensation and tool life for surface finish and accuracy.
• Quality checks: compare parts to control plans using gauges and measuring tools.
• Material handling: move heavy parts safely into and out of the work envelope.
