Job summary

FOX Factory, Inc. is seeking a CNC Operator to load, unload and inspect parts during machining. You will ensure part quality, achieve production standards, and perform de-burring, polishing, and cleaning at the machine.

The role requires measuring parts with calipers/micrometers and maintaining tight tolerances while following safety procedures. Responsibilities include operating CNC machines under supervision, interpreting drawings, and keeping accurate counts and trackers.

Qualifications

• HS graduate or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience working with controls and instrumentation.
• Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing quality environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and inspect parts during the machining process.
• Ensure quality of parts produced and meet production standards.
• Perform de-burring, polishing, and cleaning at the machine as needed.
• Operate CNC machines under routine supervision.
• Perform basic math calculations including decimals.
• Maintain dimensional tolerances between ±0.0003" and 0.005".
• Interpret basic dimensions on blueprints and prints.
• Use precision measuring tools to inspect parts.
• Load/unload parts and maintain published parts-per-hour.
• Operate at least one bar feed lathe or a mill with secondary ops.
• Keep accurate part counts, update Box Tags and Job/Quantity Tracker.
• Report issues to supervisor and follow operator procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
• Can execute machine offsets and insert changes with supervision.
• Produce parts with scrap rate under 2% consistently.
• Operate multiple lathes/mills with supervision.
• Work with at least 2 bar-feed lathes simultaneously.
