NORDAM is seeking a CNC Machine Operator Assistant for the Weekend Shift - First in the Nacelle and Thrust Reversers division. You will set up and operate CNC machines to cut and form metal and nonmetal parts according to specifications.
Responsibilities include reviewing setup sheets, mounting fixtures, loading tools, running programs, monitoring tooling, and measuring completed work for conformance. High school diploma or GED required; technical CNC training preferred.

Applies basic, and some intermediate technical skills and knowledge related to set up and operate numerical control machines to cut, shape, or form metallic and nonmetallic work pieces to specifications.
Performs other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications and departments other than the primary assignment.
Minimum High School or GED.
If applicable, a combination of experience and training may be substituted for the education requirement.
year(s) Formal technical training in operating computer numerically controlled production machines.
Must be able to work in excess of eight (8) hours per day and five (5) days per week, if required. Additionally, those who work at NORDAM Repair Division must be able to ascend and descend stairs.
While performing the duties of this job, the Stakeholder is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment can vary from loud to a more moderate level.
