Job summary

ZIEHL-ABEGG Inc. North America is seeking a high-energy CNC Machine Operator for 2nd shift to set up and run CNC mills and lathes, ensure quality, and support productive workflow in our Winston-Salem facility.

You will load materials, perform routine maintenance, verify dimensions, and maintain accurate records while adhering to safety standards and company policies. Teamwork and independent work are both essential in this role.

Qualifications

• CNC machine operating experience on mills and lathes.
• HAAS experience is a plus.
• Sheet metal fabrication experience is beneficial.
• Proficiency with hand tools and machine tools.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Fundamental CAD/CAM software knowledge.
• Ability to stand for the full shift on concrete floors.
• Ability to lift 50–70 lbs and maneuver parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills, lathes, and parts washing machine.

ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented CNC Machine Operator who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company. The purpose of this role is to set up and operate CNC Machinery to assist in producing high quality air movement products.

CNC Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be

• Operate CNC mills, lathes, and parts washing machine
• Load and unload raw materials and equipment
• Keep detailed records for equipment and procedures
• Perform necessary maintenance and cleaning on equipment
• Inspect finished product to ensure it meets required specifications
• Abide by company safety guidelines
• Stock materials and run parts
• Ensure specific directions are followed to create products that meets the required specifications

Requirements

• CNC Machine operating experience (mill and lathe)
• HAAS expereince is a plus
• Sheetmetal fabrication (beneficial)
• Working with hand tools & machine tools
• The ability to perform mathematical calculations
• Basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM software
• Ability to stand on concrete for entirety of shift
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop and walk the production floor
• Ability to pick up and move productsHeavy lifting (50lbs. To 70lbs.)
• Flexibility to work overtime as requested
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to focus on relevant work for entirety of shift
