Job summary

Advanced Industries LLC in Missouri is seeking an experienced CNC machine operator for the 2nd shift. You will load parts, set up and run CNC machines, and perform basic touch-off and in-process checks to ensure first-piece and ongoing quality.

2nd Shift

3:30pm - 2:00am

Monday - Thursday

Responsibilities:

• We need a dependable, self-motivated, experienced CNC machine operator to join our 2nd shift manufacturing team! 2nd Shift is 3:30pm - 2:00am Mon-Thurs: Have weekends off!!
• Ideal candidate will load parts, operate CNC machines, and touch-off tools (if needed). Will also be responsible for 1st piece, in-process inspection, and routine machine maintenance.
• Willingness to learn continuous improvement processes is a MUST!!
• Operation of equipment such as press brakes and computer numerical control (CNC) machines with minimum blueprint reading and job set-up ability. Will be responsible for simple, generic machine set-ups.
• Use of power tools, such as tape measure, calipers.
• Must be able to tolerate repetitive, tedious work.

Requirements:

• Pre-Employment Drug Screening: Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, including THC/marijuana. Medical marijuana cards are not accepted as an exception to this requirement.
• CNC Experience: Minimum of one year of CNC experience involving setup, programming (where applicable), and operation of manufacturing equipment, including press brakes, shears, lathes, vertical and horizontal milling machines, and drill presses.
• Attendance & Reliability: Demonstrates excellent attendance, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
• Self-Motivation: Able to work proactively, stay focused, and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Attention to Detail: Comfortable performing repetitive and detail-oriented tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift heavy objects and perform duties in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
• Working Conditions: Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and climate conditions, including extreme heat and extreme cold. Must be comfortable working in these conditions while performing assigned duties safely and efficiently.
• Teamwork: Capable of working independently and collaborating effectively with team members.
• Adaptability: Willing to learn new techniques, develop skills, and adapt to evolving technologies and production processes.
