Job summary

Lux Manufacturing in San Francisco is seeking a skilled machinist to set up and efficiently operate Haas CNC milling machines. You will load and validate part programs and verify that production runs meet quality and cycle targets.

You will inspect parts with micrometers, calipers and gauges, perform light tool offsets, read blueprints, and assist with deburring and cleaning. 3+ years in a machine shop are desired; experience with Haas controls is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in machine shop industrial environment.
• Ability to read/ interpret blueprints.
• Haas control programming and editing a plus.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Necessary to Successfully Perform this Position:

• Ability to perform light program editing and tool offsets using Haas controls
• Ability to read/ interpret blueprints

Prior Experience Desired:

• 3+ years experience in machine shop industrial environment
• Haas control programming and editing a plus
• Being ontime and reliable
