We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator to operate our computer numerical control machines. Your primary responsibility will be to program and operate the machines to automatically produce metal parts for our manufacturing team. You may program the machines for milling, drilling, lathe machining, JIG fringing, and high-speed mills. We expect you to have experience as a CNC lathe operator or a similar machining specialist.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints for needed parts
• Program the appropriate CNC to automate the production process
• Inspect metal pieces for accuracy and uniformity
• Adhere to stringent deadlines
• Accurately record production times
• Perform quality reviews and make adjustments as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols
• Perform general preventative maintenance on your machines

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Ability to use a caliper or micrometer
• Experience with CNC machine operation and setup
• Skilled in lathe work (manual and CNC) a plus
• Background in tool and die making
• Completion of apprenticeship/journey program helpful, not required
• Familiarity with G-code
