CNC MACHINE OPERATOR – 2nd Shift

Machine Operator is an entry-level position into CNC machining and requires great attention to detail. Much of the shift will be spent performing quality inspections to ensure that each part produced is perfect.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Operates machining equipment per specifications.
2. Reviews SWAT charts at the beginning of each shift to determine if a deviation has been added or any changes have been made.
3. Follows SWAT charts and online gauging instructions unless a deviation is attached.
4. Performs gauging during shift as designated by SWAT Chart.
5. Informs Shift Manager or Production Manager of downtime and scrap levels above designated threshold.
6. Completes paperwork including rework, re-inspection, and leak-test operations.
7. Completes hour by hour boards.
8. Achieves expected parts per hour (EPH).
9. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
10. Maintains regular and punctual attendance in accordance with scheduled work hours and overtime (OT) as assigned.
11. Meets all physical and environmental requirements.
12. Follows all Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Policy regulations including the proper use of all required personal protective equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Certifications/Licenses: None

Experience: 3-6 months experience as a CNC operator (non-manual CNC machines, Fanuc Controls); prior experience on Fuji, RoboDrill, and/or Makino preferred.
