Job summary

Good Earth Tools, a Festus-based manufacturer just south of St. Louis, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. You will set up machines, read programs, and operate NC tools on high-tech equipment to produce custom parts.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of CNC shop experience, Mazatrol familiarity is a plus, and the ability to work 10-hour shifts four days a week from 6:00am to 4:30pm. We offer competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of two (2) years CNC machine shop experience is required.
• Mazatrol experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work 10 hour shifts, 4 days per week, from 6:00am-4:30pm.
• Must have the ability to work 40 hours a week as scheduled and maintain a punctual, reliable attendance record.

• Highly skilled in the following tasks - milling, drilling, tapping, deburring and all bench operations and inspections.

• Perform all preventative maintenance on machines as required.
• Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance.

Physical Requirements

• In addition to being able to sit, stand, walk, read, talk, write and hear, to perform the essential functions of this job an individual must be able to perform the following activities: Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and regularly stand, reach, and move safely about the facility.
• This position regularly requires moderate to heavy physical effort.
