Job summary

Anderson Aluminum Corporation in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a CNC Operator to join our metal fabrication team. You will operate CNC machines, inspect parts, read blueprints, and ensure quality throughout the production process.

Qualifications

  • Experience with CNC machines and ability to read drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily operation of CNC machines
  • Perform quality inspections using calibrated measuring devices and complete quality records
  • Troubleshoot machines for issues
  • Anticipate needed stock and communicate needs through appropriate channels
  • Reading and interpreting drawings, including blueprints, to meet product specifications

CNC Operators are highly skilled professionals able to work with great concentration and precision. They must be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines, have a keen eye for detail and exhibit a high level of mechanical aptitude. The goal is to produce high quality parts and materials by programming machines to perform the right operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily operation of CNC machines

Work experience & Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with and working knowledge of CNC machines
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or other related fields, including:
    • Reading a tape measure and performing basic fraction and decimal changes
    • Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
    • Operating equipment properly
  • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
