Job description

Masters Machine is hiring full time CNC Machine Operator to join their team in Round Pond, Maine (7 Miles east of Damariscotta on the Pemaquid Peninsula). Do you consider yourself mechanical? The Details:

1. Benefits: employee health insurance, vacation, and sick time, 9 holidays, relocation assistance, holiday bonus, and 401k retirement plan with 4% match and profit sharing
2. Sign on Bonuses: $250.00 for first shift and $500 for second shift, after working 90 days!
3. Shifts: 1st shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:40a – 4:00p and Friday, 6:30a – 12:00p; 2nd shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:00p – 2:30a; Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday – work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours

Responsibilities:

1. Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
2. Operate one or several machines while making the required periodic inspections of the product.
3. Read blueprints, determine machining to be done, dimensions of parts and tolerances, and plan sequence of operations.
4. Set up tools, work holdings and prep jobs for machining centers
5. Select cutting speeds, feed rates, depth of cuts and cutting tools to be used based on experience and knowledge of metal properties and shop mathematics.
6. Get exposure to the best CNC machines and software in the industry
