Qualifications

• 1–3 years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and perform basic math (8th-grade level or higher).

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC Lathe machines for production runs.
• Operate multiple CNC machines efficiently.
• Dress and set tools for optimal cutting performance.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and reduce non-conformances.
• Notify the Cell Lead when problems arise.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and indicators during setups.
• Apply basic math to determine and adjust tool offsets.
• Read CMM reports to verify part quality and accuracy.
• Perform daily 5S (cleaning and organization).
• Complete daily visual machine inspections.
• Maintain proper coolant levels.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.

Skills

Understanding of manufacturing quality principles

Familiarity with process controls and instrumentation

Experience using mechanical inspection tools

Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities

Good job knowledge with attention to detail

Ability to follow copy-exact procedures
