Job summary

Selectemp in Redmond, Oregon is hiring a CNC Lathe Machine Operator for a day shift Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Earns $25–$27 per hour starting ASAP. You will produce precision parts using CNC lathes and work closely with the manufacturing team to meet specs and safety standards.

The role requires reading blueprints, using micrometers and calipers, and inspecting parts. You should be dependable, able to work independently or in a team, and willing to learn GD&T standards.

Qualifications

• CNC lathe experience or strong manufacturing background with willingness to learn.
• Dependability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or on a team.
• Basic math skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T standards.
• Familiarity with deburring, filing, sanding, shaping parts, and quality inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Operating CNC lathe machines to manufacture parts according to detailed specifications.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Inspecting parts with micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Troubleshooting equipment issues and collaborating with team members on solutions.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area.
