Job summary

Mach3, a premier large-scale precision machining company, is seeking an experienced machinist to accurately machine parts to prints, select the optimal sequence of operations, and execute precise setups to meet tolerances.

You will set up and operate a range of lathes, perform daily maintenance, and verify dimensions with precision tools. The role supports a 2nd shift with a $5/hr premium and an ESOP-focused, drama-free environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years machining experience required.
• CNC programming knowledge preferred; training available.
• Experience with large turning and parts >1000 lbs preferred.
• Lathe experience with Monarch, Leblond, Niles beneficial.
• Overhead crane and forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of alloy steel materials.
• Ability to read blueprints and BOMs.
• Detail-oriented with strong safety awareness.
• Strong teamwork and reliability in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Machine operation: set up and operate lathes (manual and CNC).
• Perform daily startup, cleanup and preventative maintenance.
• Use Dial Calipers, Dial Indicators and OD/ID Mics to verify dimensions.
• Identify and label materials for traceability.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
