Job summary

Butech Bliss is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to set up and run lathe machines, read blueprints, select tooling, and monitor processes to meet print specifications.

You will work with engineers and quality teams, perform routine maintenance, document production data, and adhere to safety rules while benefiting from a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

CNC Lathe Operator

The CNC Lathe Operator will:

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to manufacture parts to print specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Select proper tooling and fixtures for each job.
• Load raw materials and monitor machining processes.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Make basic machine adjustments and offsets to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
• Document production data, including quantities, defects and machine performance.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers and quality teams as needed.
• Complies with all Butech Bliss safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read blueprints and understand (GD&T) (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing ) preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Basic math and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirement

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Industrial/manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and material handling.
• Requires use of PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel‑toe boots.
• May require overtime or weekend work depending on production needs.

Education And/or Experience:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Technical training or certification in CNC machining preferred
• 1-3+ years of CNC lathe operating experience (or entry -level with training)
