Qualifikationen

• 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and/or vertical milling machines.
• Ability to program or edit CNC programs as required.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
• Experience using precision measuring tools to verify part dimensions.
• Ability to maintain tight tolerances and meet quality specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a precision manufacturing environment.

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and vertical milling machines.
• Program, edit, and run CNC jobs at the machine as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine setups to meet required tolerances.
• Machine components to precise customer specifications.
• Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks.
• Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMM equipment.
• Interpret and edit G-code and M-code programs as needed.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and perform basic machine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work on a variety of prototype and production jobs in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
