Job Details

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe/Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves working with state-of-the-art CNC equipment, primarily Haas machines, to produce high-quality components. Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes, interpreting GD&T symbols, and ensuring quality standards.

Responsibilities

1. Set up and operate CNC Lathes and Mills according to production schedules.
2. Interpret and implement GD&T symbols for precise manufacturing.
3. Maintain and check machinery daily.
4. Read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
5. Translate instructions into machine commands.
6. Ensure machines operate safely and efficiently.
7. Oversee machine operations and make adjustments as needed.
8. Inspect finished products for quality.
9. Test machines periodically for optimal operation.
10. Follow all safety and health regulations.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. At least 2 years of experience as a CNC Lathe/Mill Operator.
3. Knowledge of CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Haas, and GD&T.
4. Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Understanding of machining processes and materials.
8. Good communication skills.
9. Mechanical aptitude and maintenance skills.
10. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
11. Physical ability to stand long periods and lift heavy objects.
