Job summary

Classic Gears & Machining, LLC is seeking a skilled machinist to join a team focused on safety, quality, productivity and cost savings. You will program, set up, and run CNC machines to produce precision gears and machined components for OEM customers.

The role requires 3–5 years of machining experience, ability to read blueprints, and solid math and communication skills. Competitive benefits and overtime opportunities are offered in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of machining experience.
• Must read and understand blueprints, specifications and routings.
• Must possess strong math, problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Program, setup and run a CNC machine to manufacture parts per customer specs.
• Study blueprints to plan efficient manufacturing methods.
• Operate machines to produce parts to tolerances and specs on time.
• Use measuring equipment to inspect parts, including first article inspection.
• Support problem solving in small group activities.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet delivery schedules.
• Contribute to achieving goals by taking on new tasks and adding value.
