Job summary

Krones Inc. in the United States is seeking a CNC Machinist for the Lathe Department. The role involves moving between machines, performing setup and programming to meet tight tolerances, and conducting first piece and in-process quality inspections.

You will work with Mazak Quick Turn machines and Bar feeders, handling multiple material grades daily. The position requires a high school diploma and 3–5 years of CNC experience, including Mazatrol programming and GD&T knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 3 to 5 years of CNC machining operation setup and programming experience preferred
• Experience performing multiple setups per day and running different grades of material
• Mazatrol conversational programming knowledge
• Strong math skills and the ability to work from detailed and involved part drawings and specifications to perform operations to the capacity of the machine and controls
• Knowledge of metric blueprints along with GD&T preferred
• Knowledge of 2- and 3-axis Mazak Quick Turns and Bar Feeders preferred

The individual in this role will perform a series of complex machine operations, including setup and programming to meet precise tolerances and finishing requirements. This will involve conversational programming and performing first piece and in-process quality inspections. The individual in this position will run different grades of material and perform multiple setups a day.
