Qualifications

We are currently seeking a highly-skilled, detail-oriented Consulting CNC Laser Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating state-of-the‑art CNC machinery, including 5‑axis machines, with a focus on laser operations. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong understanding of blueprint reading, and the ability to calibrate equipment with precision. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain CNC machinery, including 5‑axis machines, with a special focus on laser operations.
  • Read, interpret, and implement blueprints and design specifications accurately.
  • Calibrate equipment using micrometers and calipers to ensure precision in operations.
  • Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to machine operation.
  • Perform regular inspections on machinery and workpieces to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the consulting team to provide expert advice and suggestions for process improvements.
  • Train and guide junior operators on best practices in CNC machine operation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC machine operation, specifically with 5‑axis machines and laser operations.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and design specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to calibrate equipment using micrometers and calipers.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues related to CNC machine operation.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently when required.
  • A degree or certification in a related field would be advantageous.
