Job summary

Trident Maritime Systems - Heavy Equipment Group in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a CNC Horizontal Dual Pallet Changer Machinist (HN80) to set up and machine large, complex weldments with high precision on HN80 equipment.

You will read advanced drawings, verify tolerances, and use Fanuc CNC controls to produce parts from stainless steel, aluminum, and high-temperature alloys, while meeting routed hours and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Basic M&G Code, blueprint reading, and math skills are a plus.
• Machining knowledge in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Completion of Machining program is a plus.
• Fanuc CNC experience strongly desired.
• Multi-axis machining with tool path verification and collision analysis preferred.
• Experience with stainless steel, aluminum, exotic and high-temp alloys preferred.
• Experience working with large, complex weldments preferred.
• Experience setting up quality gauging.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up intricate parts and fixturing.

• Make parts efficiently within print/contract details using materials.
• Operate overhead crane and perform rigging as needed.

We are currently seeking a CNC Horizontal Dual Pallet Changer Machinist (HN80) in our Rhinelander, WI location. In this role, you will set up, adjust and machining large complex weldments and parts on HN80 with a high degree of accuracy on various sizes and related dimensions up to 4ft. In addition, you will demonstrate the ability to meet routed hours with a high level of detail to quality and modify and create programs as needed to meet company and customer requirements.

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Independently set up intricate parts and fixturing
• Work from advanced drawings and job layouts
• Machine intermediate to advanced parts with a high level of quality using materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotic and high temperature alloys
• Make all parts efficiently within print/contract details using materials
• Overhead Crane operation and rigging
• Setup tooling using machine setup documentation
• Use drawings, specifications, and a wide variety of precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain equipment and safe work area
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds.
• Long periods of standing.
