Job summary

Trident Maritime Systems - Heavy Equipment Group in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a CNC Horizontal Dual Pallet Changer Machinist (HN80) to set up, adjust and machine large weldments with high precision. You will work from advanced drawings, using materials such as stainless steel, aluminum and exotic alloys, and operate overhead cranes as needed.

This role requires familiarity with M & G codes, blueprint reading, and math, with a strong emphasis on tool paths, collision analysis, and quality

Qualifications

• Basic M & G Code, blueprint reading and math skills are a plus.
• Fanuc CNC experience strongly desired.
• Multi-axis machining with tool path verification and collision analysis preferred.
• Experience working with large complex weldments is preferred.
• Experience setting up quality gauging.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up intricate parts and fixturing.
• Work from advanced drawings and job layouts.
• Machine intermediate to advanced parts with high quality on Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotic and high temperature alloys.
• Make parts efficiently within print/contract details.
• Overhead Crane operation and rigging.
• Setup tooling using machine setup documentation.
• Use drawings, specifications, and a wide variety of precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain equipment and safe work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a CNC Horizontal Dual Pallet Changer Machinist (HN80) in our Rhinelander, WI location. In this role, you will set up, adjust and machine large complex weldments and parts on HN80 with a high degree of accuracy on various sizes and related dimensions up to 4ft. In addition, you will demonstrate the ability to meet routed hours with a high level of detail to quality and modify and create programs as needed to meet company and customer requirements.

• Machine intermediate to advanced parts with a high level of quality using materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotic and high temperature alloys
• Make all parts efficiently within print/contract details using materials

• Use drawings, specifications, and a wide variety of precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain equipment and safe work area

Qualifications
