Rotating Machinery Services (RMS) provides specialty machining, repair, maintenance and overhaul services for large, highly engineered turbomachinery. At its Tomball facility, RMS is looking for an experienced CNC HBM Machinist who can take ownership of close-tolerance finish machining work on components used across multiple industries.
This is not a basic machine-operating position. You will work with CNC horizontal boring mills, Fanuc/Tosnuc controls, Cogsdill contouring heads and right-angle heads to perform drilling, boring, tapping and thread milling operations. You must be comfortable reading drawings, understanding CNC programs and inspecting your own work throughout the machining process.
