Job summary

MUM Industries, Inc. is seeking candidates for a machining position in our Machining Dept. The role involves setting up HAAS CNC milling machines, performing precision grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, deburring, sawing and sanding, and inspecting finished parts.

The ideal candidate will read drawings, follow routers, use calipers and simple math, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while communicating in English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or graduation from certified technical school or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience setting up CNC Milling HAAS machines.
• 2 years of experience operating CNC Milling HAAS machines.
• 2 years of experience using calipers.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and reading drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform CNC machine shop operations including setup for CNC HAAS milling.
• Inspect machined parts and document results.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Read drawings, follow routers, perform basic math and use hand tools.
• Perform grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, deburring, sawing and sanding as required.
• Complete paperwork for parts and report defects to supervisor.
• Communicate in English and follow instructions.
• Report to Machining Supervisor and perform other duties as assigned.
