Job summary

GWS Tool Group in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced CNC Grinder to produce high-precision carbide and HSS cutting tools using Rollomatic CNC grinders. You will program, set up, operate, inspect, and adjust tooling to ensure consistent quality.

The role requires 5+ years of CNC grinding/operator experience, a high school diploma or GED, and manufacturing experience. Certification is appreciated but not required; travel is None.

Responsibilities

• Set up and offsets as required.
• Read blueprints accurately.

• Evaluate finished parts by visual inspection and measurement.
• Communicate quality issues to programmers or managers.
• Pull material for upcoming jobs.
• Check machinery daily to ensure functionality.

Job Summary:

TheCNC Grinderwillbe responsible forproducing premium quality, high precision carbide, carbide tipped and HSS cutting tools using CNCRollomatictool cutting/grinding machines and programs. Facilitates andoperatesmachines by programming, setup,operatingmachines, inspecting tools for visible flaws and correcting quality issues to ensure a consistent product.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the setup and offsets asrequired.

• Ability to accurately read blueprints.

• Must be able to inspect tools for defects using quality control tools.

• Responsible foraccurateprogramming and machine operation.

• Consistently evaluates the quality of the finished product coming off the CNC machine through visual inspection and the use of measurement tools.

• Communicates quality issues to programmers and/or General Managers.

• Pull material for up-coming jobs

• Check machinery on a daily basis to ensure functionality.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

• 5+ years of experience with CNCGrinding /Operator experience

• Certification from a qualified training institution in the field of machining is ideal but notrequired.

• Previousmanufacturing experience isrequired
