Job summary

TMG Chicago is seeking a CNC Technician in Kankakee, IL to install and maintain machine tool equipment. This hands-on role involves traveling to customer sites, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and providing training and technical support. Candidates should have a background in mechanical or electrical repair, be able to read schematics, and possess excellent communication skills. Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in mechanical/electrical repair or engineering desired.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics is required.
• Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills are a must.
• Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment.
• Use technical documents to research machine issues.
• Complete and submit documentation regarding machine issues and repairs.
• Promote and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Train in CNC repair and Haas equipment during onboarding process.
