Job summary

Skillsource Group, Inc. is seeking a CNC Field Service Technician to work in their manufacturing client's Chicagoland office. This full-time, direct-hire position requires expertise in operating and maintaining Fanuc-controlled Swiss CNC lathes.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of service and repair experience, along with abilities in reading blueprints and schematics. Frequent travel is expected, and knowledge of PartMaker programming is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of service and repair experience with Swiss CNC lathes.
• Knowledge of Fanuc controls required.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and ladder diagrams.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain Fanuc‑controlled Swiss CNC lathes, perform service and repair, read blueprints and schematics, program PartMaker as needed, and provide scheduled and as‑needed field service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum five (5) years of service and repair experience with Swiss CNC lathes.
• Knowledge of Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and ladder diagrams.
• Experience with PartMaker programming is a plus.
• Frequent travel (mostly domestic, some international).
