Gilder Search Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide field service, installation, and support for high-end CNC machine tools at customer sites. You will work independently in a regional territory, performing hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, installations, and customer support with moderate travel.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing CNC machine tools.
• Fanuc controls experience desired.
• High school diploma or technical training.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site service, maintenance, and repairs of CNC machines at customer facilities.
• Install new CNC equipment, verify setup, leveling, and alignment.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and perform basic electrical diagnostics.
• Replace worn or damaged mechanical parts.
• Document service visits, complete installation records, and submit paperwork.
• Offer remote technical assistance and phone support to customers.
• Deliver hands-on machine training to customers.
• Organize travel itineraries and submit weekly expense summaries.
• Engage in online training and maintain current knowledge.
• Interact with customers with reliability and professionalism.
