Donson Machine Company seeks an entry-level CNC Support Staff member in Alsip, IL to start in a hands-on role with potential progression into CNC machinist positions in lathe, mill, or EDM departments.

No CNC experience is required initially; you will join our 9-week training bootcamp based on performance, attendance and attitude. This is a full-time day/night shift opportunity with overtime potential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Be punctual and maintain an excellent attendance record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Ability to bend, twist, turn, and reach during shifts.
• Work in a shop with potentially hazardous machinery and noise.

Little or no CNC experience? Not a problem. Begin your career in CNC Manufacturing as a member of our CNC support team!

As a member of our level 1 CNC Support Staff, you will work within a department such as saw, tool crib, assembly, polishing, maintenance, or shipping. Based on your productivity, work ethic, and attitude in that department you will have the opportunity to enter Donson’s 9-week training bootcamp and work your way into a CNC machinist role in our lathe, mill, or EDM departments.

Night Shift (4:30PM – 3:00AM, Mon – Thurs) *With opportunity for overtime

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements

• High School Degree (or Equivalent)
• 2 Years Job Experience (part-time/summer jobs okay for those just graduating)
• Be punctual and maintain an excellent attendance record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk up to 90% of the day
• Ability to bend, twist, turn, and reach up to 100% of the day
• Ability to work in a shop environment - continuous exposure to potentially hazardous metal working machinery and equipment, loud noises, dust, mist, oils and solvents.
