Job summary

Pulse Technologies in Quakertown, PA is seeking a CNC Deburring Technician I to support manufacturing operations. You will read blueprints and process documentation, inspect parts and help prepare items for packaging, all under supervision.

You will perform deburring, finishing, cleaning and tooling changes, and you will learn to work with small parts under a microscope to ensure conformance to specifications. This role is onsite and involves manual inspection and packaging.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints for dimensions, tolerances and other product specifications needed for inspection and machining operations on all machines.
• Read and understand the job order, router and program for product specifications such as part number, dimensions, tolerances, number of parts to be machined and tooling instructions such as cutting tools to be used and the expected tool change frequency for all deburring operations.
• Position and secure tools in the proper toolholders for all machines.
• Perform secondary bench operations (deburring, finishing, cleaning) as specified on the router operation for all machines.
• Clean out the machine when a change over to another media is required for all machines.
• Become competent in working with small parts that require the use of a microscope to detect specific items and conformance to specifications.
• Become competent in visual inspection, packaging and weighing/counting of completed products for all machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Group Leader.
