Job summary

You will interpret prints, program the CNC, and verify dimensions with precision instruments. The position requires five or more years of fabrication machine experience, an apprenticeship is desirable, and forklift certification is noted.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of specific fabricating machine experience.
• Forklift operator certification.
• Ability to read and understand job specifications, shop drawings, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
• Program the CNC to produce new parts meeting specifications.
• Check height, depth and thickness using measuring instruments.
• Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.
• Perform spot inspections of parts.
• Ensure machine is calibrated and maintained according to procedures.
