Job description

A CNC manufacturing shop in Southwest, WA is looking for an experienced shop manager.

Relocation candidates are welcome to apply!

Responsibilities

1. Minimum three years management experience, preferably in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
2. Ability to program in Mastercam and set up first run parts.
3. Thorough understanding of aerospace machine shop operations, processes, and quality requirements such as AS9100, preferably in 3-axis and 4-axis Vertical and Horizontal CNC machines.
4. Experience in estimating aerospace parts and assemblies.
5. Demonstrated ability to comprehend all aspects of engineering data and correctly interpret requirements.
6. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to act as a coach, teacher, and auditor as required to develop staff.
7. Excellent analytical skills.
8. Complex and non-routine problem-solving experience is necessary.
9. Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Suite are required.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of internal departments and external elements such as customers, suppliers, etc.
11. Proven consistency to perform all duties to a high level of quality with accuracy and attention to detail.
