Job summary

HCF is actively seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under licensed supervision in a Kentucky facility. You will assist residents with daily living activities, document care, and follow care plans to ensure consistent, compassionate service.

Qualified candidates include STNA/CNA certified individuals or those about to complete a state-approved training program within four months. A strong emphasis on empathy, teamwork, reliability and patient safety is required.

Qualifications

• STNA/CNA certification or enrollment to complete within four months of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Compassionate, team-oriented, trustworthy and service-minded candidates wanted.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in all activities of daily living, to include bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring, personal hygiene and ambulation.
• Follow HCF Policies and Procedures and care plans.
• Meet job-related competencies as outlined in STNA/CNA manual.
• Answer call lights and complete documentation of care given.
• Refer to and follow resident care plan and report abnormal findings.

Overview

State Tested Nursing Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant performs direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in all activities of daily living, to include bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring, personal hygiene and ambulation.
• Must follow HCF Policies and Procedures.
• Must meet job-related competencies as outlined in the Skills Competency Manual for STNA or CNA.
• Answers call lights.
• Complete documentation of care given.
• Refers to and follows resident care plan.
• Report any abnormal findings, such as injuries, incidents, skin issues, complaints, suspected abuse/neglect/misappropriation, and any unsafe conditions.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Is already a State Tested Nurse Aide or will successfully complete and pass a State approved Nurse Aide training program and competency exam within four months of date of hire.
