Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, CO, is seeking a Nursing Assistant or PCT to join the team. You will assist with delegated patient care tasks under RN supervision, providing patient-centered care and collaborating with the team to meet daily goals.

Qualifications include CNA/PCT training, BLS, and a willingness to train others. This full-time position offers day shifts and a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv.
• Technical/Vocational School.
• Graduate of a nursing assistant or PCT program.

Responsibilities

• Assists with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks under direct supervision of a RN.
• Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect in collaboration with other team members.
• Assists care team in achieving daily patient and family goals.
• Provides quality patient care, including comfort, hygiene, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs.
• Reports patient status changes and needs to RN accurately and promptly.
• Maintains inventory and replacement of telemetry supplies, ensuring all transmitter inventory is accounted for each shift.
• Assists in training other nursing support staff, volunteers, students, and other hospital personnel.
• Monitors and documents patient’s cardiac rhythm, recognizing and notifying RN immediately of life-threatening arrhythmias.
