Job summary

Envive of Brookville is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for a weekend role to support our residents. You will provide essential care, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe and comfortable environment.

The Weekend Warrior works Saturdays and Sundays, upholds high care standards, and collaborates with nurses and staff to ensure resident well-being. Health, dental, vision benefits, and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid CNA certification.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
• Fast and adaptive problem-solving with keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with patient care policies and CPR/First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including meals, turning, ambulating, and hydration.
• Support residents with personal hygiene.
• Observe residents and report health concerns to the supervising nurse.
• Document resident food and fluid intake.
• Assist with feeding and nutritional supplements as needed.
• Make beds and keep living areas tidy and safe.
• Transport residents within the facility as required.
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed.
• Adhere to facility policies and maintain resident confidentiality.

CNA Weekend Warrior

Join the Envive of Brookville team as a CNA Weekend Warrior and make a difference in the lives of our residents! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, and contribute to a warm and welcoming environment.

About the Role

As a CNA Weekend Warrior, you will work on weekends, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and attention.

• Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents, and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout your scheduled shift
• Helping residents with personal hygiene
• Observing residents and reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Documenting resident food and fluid intake
• Assisting residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements
• Making resident beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidy
• Transporting residents within the facility
• Assisting nurses and other staff as needed
• Adhering to professional standards and following all facility policies and procedures
• Maintaining the confidentiality of all residents and facility data

Qualifications and Skills

As a CNA, you must have:

• A current and valid CNA certification
• Excellent interpersonal skills

• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
