Job summary

Summerlin Hospital, a 496-bed acute care facility in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing unit activities through clerical duties and direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants must have a Nevada CNA license, BLS certification, and a high school diploma or GED, with ability to obtain CNA certification as required. Excellent benefits and opportunities within the VHS/UHS system are offered.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent preferred. Completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA certification from Nevada Board of Nursing.
• Current CNA license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Position is responsible for assisting the planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activities occurring in the nursing unit by performing clerical and receptionist duties, and performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state.
