Job summary

Salem Health Hospitals & Clinics in Salem, Oregon, invites a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Trauma Care Unit in a Full-Time, 36-hours-per-week role. The 12-hour shifts run 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, with a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, support nurses, maintain a safe and healing environment, and provide compassionate care. Oregon CNA license and current BLS are required to apply.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Oregon to practice as a CNA.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Your role with us

As a certified nursing assistant in our 30-bed trauma care unit, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients and nursing staff in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The unit features private, telemetry-capable rooms which are designed with ICU-level capability allowing you to care for patients experiencing a wide range of medical conditions, including trauma, vascular issues, and complex cardiac, respiratory, and metabolic disorders.

Most patients arrive from the emergency department or are transferred from the ICU, giving you the opportunity to contribute to meaningful care during critical moments. You'll work alongside a collaborative and adaptable team known for strong communication and teamwork, helping to ensure patients receive compassionate, high-quality care at every level of acuity.
