Job summary

PruittHealth Coastal Central is seeking a Transportation Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant to safely transport patients to appointments, therapies, and activities. You will assist patients entering and exiting vehicles, provide hands-on CNA support for ADLs and ambulation, and maintain a welcoming, caring environment during all transport interactions.

This role requires a High School diploma or GED and CPR certification; a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; and comfort working

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with mobility devices and wheelchair lifts preferred.
• Ability to lift and assist patients safely.
• Strong communication and service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to medical appointments and activities.
• Assist patients entering and exiting vehicles with proper techniques.
• Provide CNA support including ADLs and ambulation.
• Maintain a clean, safe transport environment.
• Document logs, mileage, and schedules accurately.
• Coordinate with nursing and administrative teams for smooth transport.
