Job summary

St. John's United seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Transitional Care unit at Billings, MT. Under RN supervision, you will support patient care and work with the interdisciplinary team to address physical, psychosocial, educational and spiritual needs of patients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Montana CNA certification required or completion of SJU CNA Course.
• Training in Serve Safe, food preparation, basic nutritional guidelines and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Observe elder wellbeing and report changes to the team.
• Perform housekeeping and room prep after patient discharge.
• Follow safety rules and infection control procedures.
• Provide patient-focused service with professional interactions.
